Lee Leads Triple Challenge

Joshua Lee, thanks to back-to-back Top 10’s in the first two rounds, takes a 5 point lead into the final round of the Saturday Triple Challenge.

The Triple Challenge is an “opt-in” event, decided on points allocated on the basis of the Members’ finishing position amongst the entrants over successive Saturdays – one round each of Stroke, Par and Stableford.  The 2021 Saturday Triple Challenge attracted 76 nominations.

Josh sits on 139pts, after finishing 3rd in the Stroke round, and then 6th in last week’s Par event.  Geoff Turner holds second place on 134pts, following a 9th place stroke round and a 5th in the Par event.  Josh and Geoff are the only Members to record 2 top-10 results, and a third for either would probably be enough to secure victory.

The Top 5 is as follows:

Joshua Lee – 139

Geoff Turner – 134

Alan Valle – 126

David Cush – 125

Michael Ferraz – 123

The final round – the Stableford leg – is this Saturday.

Best of luck to all those in contention!
