Silvana Phillips closed out a wire-wire-win in the Women’s Club Championships yesterday. Silvana recorded four consistent rounds of 87.87.86.83 – 343, increasing her lead after each round.
In the end, the margin was 19 strokes to Sam Brown – who also played consistent golf with rounds of 90.88.90.94 – 362.
Jenny Smallcombe stormed home yesterday with the lowest round of the B Grade Championship in the final round, to take out that grade from Chris Parkinson.
In C Grade, Chris Buganey overcame a 3-stroke deficit to beat both Arlie Green and Helen Wilson by a single stroke.
