83 players from 11 different clubs took to the fairways on Sunday 1st October to contest the 2023 Mt Coolum Men’s Open. In a close contest, Glenn Esden took out the Championship with a fine 2 over par 74, one shot behind was another home club member, Zac Quirk on 75, with Mt Coolum’s Matt Green in third place on 76.

The A Grade Nett Winner was Mick Marz on 72, B Grade Nett Winner was Sam Wilson on 71 and the C Grade Nett Winner was Chris Nixon with 76

The event was played in conjunction with the District Senior Men’s Championship, Mt Coolum’s Steve Musgrave took out the Gross Championship with a score of 8 over par 80, with Mt Coolum’s Chris Rolph taking out the Nett event with a score of 74.
