In very hot conditions today, Stephan Scheepers and Pam Hunt have won dual Championships – claiming both the Mount Coolum Golf Club and the Sunshine Burnett Glasshouse District Mixed Foursomes Championships, which were conducted concurrently.
With scores of 79.41 – 120, Stephan and Pam were 7 strokes ahead of the nearest competitors – James and Chrissy Hordern of Noosa Springs.
Michael Car & Cheryl Sutherland and Tian Scheepers and Jean Brkic were next best on 128.
A field of 88 players contested the District Championship, with 66 of those also eligible for the Club Championship.
